I want to cut down on the dust in my 98 4Runner so I decided to clean my blower fan. I'm following these instructions and I was wondering if I can remove the plastic fan part from the motor part? I just want to clean it throughly and I'm afraid of getting water in the motor. I've already removed the metal stopper thing at the top but I don't want to pull on the fan too much and end up breaking it.
