98 SR5 KARR Alarm

So this is what happened...

A few years ago a local shop replaced my battery while doing some other work. Once they hooked it back up they couldn't stop the alarm from going off. So what did they do? They removed the entire system.

I know, I know. I should have ripped their heads off and threatened a law suite and such. But at the time this happened life was truly hectic, twins on the way, moving to a new house, promotion along with a transfer... You get the idea.

So I'm trying to put it back into my 98' SR5. I've gone on the web and found all kinds of info on how to program it (from this great site) and how to run the harness. But nothing on how to mount the actual unit. There is a shock sensor and I'm wondering if there is a certain way it must sit?

So is there a certain angle that the shock sensor must be mounted? Can it sit at 90 degrees and still function?

So I know that the harness will plug into the Main Control Module (MCM). But do the other wires go anywhere? Here is what is in the pic:
(1) Harness for the MCM.
(2) Smaller harness that has a green/red wire and a blue wire
(3) What looks brown in the pic is actually a white wire
(4) Smaller harness: Light blue/red line, grey, red and an orange & black wire.
(not appearing in this film) while down in the garage making sure I had the colors right, I discovered a pink wire with a white line behind the driver's kick panel.

Okay,
I mounted the shock sensor and wired up the MCM. Now to go and try to reprogram the fob. When I turn the key in the ignition it tries to start but won't turn over. at least I know the dang thing will work once I get it programmed. And if not, then I'll just disconnect it but leave it in place.

Update!

I put a note on the work forums offering $50.00 to whomever could make the alarm and locks work again via the fob. When I went into work the next day I had a reply waiting for me.

Steve is a retired Coasty that works near my base. Considering I drive all the way from Santa Rosa to Alameda it was a shock to learn that he lived right around the corner from me.

He came by the house later that day and after a bit of hit and miss he got it working! He refused to take the money until I guilted him into it.

I recently bought a 98 SR5 in Texas with the 00014-S0200 alarm system installed as pictured above. however, mine did not come with a key fob for keyless entry, I want to get one but am unclear on which key ID I need to look for? a few have been mentioned... will multiple ones work with this system, or does anyone know what replacement key remote would be my best bet?

Any help would be great! I've done a lot of looking around but can't find a clear answer and don't want to waste money on the wrong one
