'98 to mid-gen Headlight swap

I'm doing a bunch of research on possibly doing a projector HID upgrade from my '98 (I may just get some driving lights). It would seem like a waste to put them in the OEM frosted headlights. Does anyone know if the later clear 3rd gen headlights are interchangeable in both mounting and harness? They are fairly cheap on eBay.

yes 99-02 headlights are plug and play the ebay ones suck though fine for doing a real hid projector mod if not then get factory oem toyota ones which can be find on ebay or else where rather cheap
