Hi guys,
Just wanted to share a bumper build I recently completed. I took up an offer from a new friend here on T4R and went out to his shop to see what we could put together. After a couple days of work and many hours with a grinder, a beautiful plate bumper was born. Thanks again Grady!!

Here it is in stock form.

I'm actually looking for a bumper too. If he would want to make another I would have cash in the mail asap

what size (thickness) metal did you use?

How did you cut it out?

looks great.

I used 1/4" for the mounting plate, 3/16" for the front face, and 1/8" for the top piece and all the sides.

I used a plasma cutter to cut all the pieces and then the grinders to make it fit better.

Thanks for the compliments, but I'm in no position to make these for anybody else. I can help and give any ideas or dimensions if you need them though! :bigok:

Yes, the stock bumper is for sale, would prefer local but could figure shipping out if we need to.

Yes, but shipping it might be a bit of a hassle/expensive...

Im only interested in the metal part, not the lower valance. Do you happen to know what it came off of? Im just wondering if its the same black as my 4runner. Or if you or someone else painted it? Thanks

Looks good Richard...That guy that helped you must have skills...:biggrin2::biggrin2::biggrin2::biggrin2:

Maybe we need to go into the bumper building business..............

Need Dimensions

I know this thread is over a year old but I was hoping to get dimensions for the bumper you built. I have a friend who can cut, bend, weld, and powdercoat whatever I need. Could even make 4 of them. Just need the dimensions. Thanks.

Richard no longer gets on here since he sold his 4runner and now owns a LC so if u want more info i would suggest getting in touch with Whackmaster since he is the one who welded it and helped build it for richard.

I did not get a chance to buy my steel yet. Spent all day yesterday washing and drying out my ride.

Glad you found this thread.
