99 4runner limited v6 exhaust

Hey, i want to put a little sound in the yota but not trying to spend a bunch of money nor do i want to mess with too much underneath...anyone got a suggestion on cheap but still will give me a little noise?

Welcome to the forum. Using the SEARCH function will help you out. I got a 18" magnaflow muffler for $45 off craigslist and it sounds great. :driving:

So the cherry bomb vortex is just a muffler? and thats all i need to give me a little sound? cause i found one on ebay for like 26 bucks. its a 2.25 in/out. Will that work? theres no extra piping or anything? new to this stuff man...i dont mean to kill you with questions just trying to make sure i dont buy nothing thats not right or dont need. and price to put on ?

I'd just make the trip to a local muffler shop. Talk to the guys there and tell them what kind of sound you're looking for. Most shops stock Magnaflow & Flowmaster. They will be able to give you a quote for muffler & install total as well. And yes, 2.25" inlet/outlet is correct.

I got my muffler installed for $20-25. Nothing major.

I went with the Vortex because of the price and sound. Seems hard to beat for the price, at least to me.
