99 4Runner Price?

I'm looking at a 1999 4Runner with about 85K on it. It is in great condition but the price seems a bit high. Is $12000 too much? It's an SR5 with a sun roof and a towing hitch.

should be $8k tops usually 6 or 7k. You could just kelly blue book it. kbb said $8,100 and i gave it leather 4wd auto sunroof and tow package power windows etc

Yeah 12k is to much for that. Hell ill sell you my 01 4wd for 12k, lifted arb bumoer winch sliders 33's loaded. Id look around more though.

It has low miles which is hard to find. I would say $8000 max..... 6 months ago I bought a 2000 Limited 4WD E-Locker with 117k for $8500

you lose money with mods on the car, unless its an expedition vehicle

Yeah, WAAAAAY to much! I picked up my 99 Limited 4WD with 99K miles all loaded up for $7G's out the door!

I'll concur with the group, although the low miles are nice all it really means in this case is that you'd be the one stuck doing the T-belt at 90k.

I paid $8100 OTD (plus tax, though) for my '99 SR5 automatic with 117k miles, near-new BFG KO tires and a rear locker.

It's been a great vehicle for me so far. Looking forward to some mild mods.
