99 4runner SR5 47wd - transmission issue

I'm new on here. I just bought a 99 4runner last week. It has 99,900 miles on it and I love it. However, I noticed yesterday that when I go from 1st to second gear with the (automatic) transmission that it sticks sometimes. It seems that when I slow down quickly or take off fast then it sticks but does eventually go. Does anyone have any input? I'm nervous about this.

How does the ATF look? Is the level okay when it's hot? Could be related to your throttle cables/linkage or your TPS. Do you have a check engine light?

What do you mean sticks? It spins and then engages from a quick stop?

47 wheel drive? Dude thats impressive. Who needs 4wd with 47wd!
