been asking about small lifts ( 2" ) and just learned about the taller 99 4wd coils. would this be my best option cause im wanting a stock feel and it will be 99% onroad with my family. just got 31x10.5 15s so i want to keep it reasonable with my tire size. would this be way more expensive than spacers and how much better would it ride than the spacers? looking for something inexpensive. thanks. i dont really know where to look for these oem coils either

yes those would work
they are not really 99 4x4 springs but typically called tall 99 springs
Not all 99s had them so do your research and know the color codes to watch for .
I believe these can actually still be purchased new from dealerships like
trdparts4u.com but not sure. Roughly $80 each or so guesstimate.
Otherwise an Old Man Emu spring like the 890 is a good all purpose substitute. That is a rear spring only.
You might also explore your shocks if they are still original? it is definitely time to replace those and a Tokico model shock is the stock shock. Probably about $100 each.
If you ride strictly on road yes you can likely save some dough with spacers. I hear and read mixed reviews on spacers. That is my opinion.

since this post i have decided i am going with ome springs. i am 90% set on the 881/906 setup and i am only running 31's on 15 inch wheels. tires are brand new so they will be on there awhile. problem is this. id say in 2-3 years i would eventually go up to a 16" wheel with either the 265 or 285(nice size i like). which means i would probably need a higher lift than the 881/906 setup. any opinions on what i should get now so later down the road i don't have to buy all new stuff to gain another inch or so. i believe i could add a topout spacer to the 881 but not to sure i want to go spacer route. btw, i don't carry much load in my cargo area. only thing back there 90% of the time is a stroller and my son (i mounted a bucket seat in the rear so I would have extra seating). also wanting a nice onroad ride as my wife and 3 boys (4,2, 2months) will be in there the majority of the time. thanks, sorry for the long post. can you guys help me out.

You could go with the spacer and the 881s like you were thinking, but you'll have to add trim spacers to the rear, or replace the 906s w/ 890s, otherwise you'll have an anti-rake. As far as spacers go they suck, but the spacer w/ the 881s works good - one of the few exceptions.
