EGR makes a set, you can get them on eBay, just search for 4Runner Flares. They're expensive, but not compared to OEM, and fit/look like they are OEM.

Bushwacker sells ones that look like the Limited's but not quite as wide which IMO is better looking and they install very easily and they accept paint well if you choose that route but you should get aftermarket mud guards since the OEM ones won't work with the flares.

It's hard getting paint to stick to the any older plastic parts but I (actually my freind who does paint work did) did paint my Bushwacker flares and they came out quite nice.

and the bushwacker ones were plastic like the stock ones?

My '97 only had the chrome strips over the wheel wells so the Bushwackers made a huge diffrence. The Bushwackers are plastic and have a smooth surface vs the SR5's smaller flares which have a slightly bumpy surface.
