99 frame rail corrosion

Anyone experience rust through on the frame rails for a 1999 4Runner? I know the Tacoma had a buy back. Just discovered I have holes all through my frame rails. thanks.

You might be able to get it repaired, but it will never have the integrity that it once had...If i was you I'd take my chances with finding another one, and avoid the one you have like the plague...

Frame Fracture

2003 V8 Frame Fracture right rear @ lower control arm attachment point. Left rear of frame missing two sides @ wheel well and large hole at lower control arm attachment. Advised by mechanic to not drive the truck. Looking for similar posts and actual remedies i.e.. collision welding specialist. I am located in Worcester County Massachusetts. the truck was not in an accident. New England weather has taken its toll. any replies to this appreciated. Hope you had a good outcome with your '99.

You are better off find another frame or just disposing of the truck. The problem is you may weld up those areas you mention but I am sure it just the tip of the ice burg. Time for something new.
