'99 lift

I want to put a lift on my 99. Nothing huge or that requires alot of other modification but will make the stance just a little higher and make it look more aggressive- maybe a couple of inches? What does everyone think the best way to go about this is?

Lee- Could you possibly give me more details about the lift setup you have? You can PM me or post it here. Thanks

I'm also going to do the PP/Bils setup sometime soon since it seems the perfect setup for mild to intermediate off roading and a little lift so it doesn't look stock and gives a little more agressive appearance and from about 7 other people with this combo give this a thumbs up for even daily driver Runners.

sure.. like what?

the facts are, it gives about 1.75 inches of lift. you cant fit tires larger than 265/75/16 (you can fit this size stock as well, fyi). it rides really well, smooth over bumps.

thats.. about all i can say unless you have more q's.

Is it the 1" PP lift spring?

Also, how much difference do you have MPG wise since you lifted it and got the new tires?

The lift itself shouldn't affect MPG but those tires lee has are a bit heavier than most but I doubt he lost very much anyway.

yes, those are the pp springs.

i lost about 1 or 2 mpgs.

its my aggressive driving style that is my biggest mpg enemy!

thanks for the info everyone. I think the 1" pp fits what i want but since the 99 springs are 1" taller than all other years would that mean that the lift is not really a lift? (sorry i've tried to find the answer to this but i just had to ask)

possibly. its a good point.

but i doubt it, because stock springs sag, so im sure you arent really at the same 1" you were when it was brand new.

sometime soon im gonna go for more lift, using spacers... just an fyi, that you can add more later.
