I'm going to look at a 99 4R tomorrow. I own a 2011 Camry and love my car, but I've wanted and SUV as a 2nd car for year. The pictures provided make the car appear impeccable inside and out, and the price is within my current range. The ad and owner have stated that the car has been well maintained, but my concern is the high mileage. It's got ~290K on it credited to "mostly highway" miles. To me, that's a lot of miles for any car, but my dad has a Corolla with well over 200K on it as well, and it still runs like a top. I have a few buddies that are handy mechanics, but with ~290K, is that too many miles (for even a well-maintained 4R)?
