99 sr 5 wheel question

Any one know what the stock back spacing was on the 99 sr 5 enkle wheels? I have been having horrible vibrations since I lifted. I took it in the other day and had the tires balanced on the hunter road force balancer. All but one of my tires were unbalanceable. My rear tires are worn at an angle, more worn on the outside and less on the inside. The guy doing the balancing said it was because the wheels had the wrong backspacing. Is he full of it? I am running the 15x10 bs3.75 rock crawler street lock wheels with 33x12.5 mickey thompson at's.

the guy is an idiot... back spacing has nothing to do with this! it sounds to me like and alignment issue, after you had the lift installed(put on) did you get it aligned or just leave it at that? and he said that all four are unbalanceable? i think he doesnt know how to use the machine... was he "road force" balancing them? or just standard balance -if he was road forcing them then thats probably the issue. sounds to me like your alignment is off and and or you didnt tighten something up... hence you have unevenly worn your tires, and that is where your vibrations are coming from. the tires might be worn bad enough now that they truly cant be perfectly balanced now, but they can get them close -maybe look at getting a new set of tires(depending on how much life is left in them) and that should help. tires dont just wear unevenly, there has to be a cause for it and i suspect its the lift was improperly installed or someone forgot to adjust or tighten up something ect., and thats your cause and affect...

I installed the lift about 3 years ago and have been through it multiple times ensuring that everything was tight. it is the rear wheels that are worn uneven. and it is both of the outside edge that is worn more than the inside edge. i agree that it doesnt make sense that the back spacing would cause this, but i just wanted to make sure i wasnt missing something. It was the road force portion that they couldnt pass. The tires themselves have about a third of the tread life left. they are old and well used so it didnt surprise me that they were bead up, but how unevenly they wore is what surprised me.
