99 Toyota 4runner no cold AC

i have 99 Toyota 4runner Limited 3.4 with no cold AC. I have checked the AC pump working good , AC is cold when I bypass the AC pump . Help to explain what wrong with the AC . The weather switch ( included "the AC button" ) as been replaced by previous owner .

did you look at your heater control valve? i had the same thing and my cable slipped off

Do you have climate control or normal hot/cold control. Climate control has an LCD display and the internals are faulty from the factory which is very likely the problem if the compressor is still functioning properly. Had the same problem on my fathers 99.

LCD controls in 99-02 Limiteds. If the compressor is on and the line going into into the cabin/evaporator is cold than either your heater control valve is not closing or a servo motor on the servo unit is not opening or closing properly.

Don't know what a weather switch is. And the AC button is apart of the Digital climate control. OP are you sure this is a Limited? Sounds like your talking about the manual (non-digital ) controls. One other thing, how do you "bypass" the AC pump? Are you putting battery voltage directly to it?
