'99 v-6 oil leak

I did some searching but havn't really found the same problem. My wifes 99 runner has started leaking oil. Truck only has 88k miles on it but I fear that its the rear main or hopefully only the pan gasket. I was told "Its prolly just the rear main, thats common, just let it go". Well anyway I want to fix it so what if any are common problems. All I can tell is that its coming from between eng. and trans. Thanks in advance.

I have seen a couple leaking from there, my advice is clean all the oily areas and look for the source of the leak. If it is the rear main, I wouldn't replace it with and thing but a OEM seal.

I had that same problem. I took it to a shop and had it replaced. They said that the PCV valved got clogged up and it was pushing oil through the rear main.
