Got Y boned yesterday. Had a toyota camry run a red light and go under me. these trucks are tough.

Ended up taking a 2x4 and a mag light to get the major dents out. The car that hit me was messed up... everything looks fine but internally lots of brackets are broken and my favorite part... my tire marks up and down the passenger side!!!
It was the only pic I could get while the cops were there. Cops said it was no ones fault.

I would have liked to have seen what would have happened if you had sliders. I'd see the results of people whipping their doors open into them.... how about the front end of a Camry? Glad everybody is ok!

You going to fix it or leave it be? You might be able to find new doors for cheaper than a fix.

Im just repairing it myself and I really want sliders now. The cops put here suck because these accidents happen daily. That last pic shows what I got out right away untill i can really get to it this weekend. The issue now is dealing with my fiances slight injuries. Shes sore from the hip up and barely can walk. Cop didnt even ask if she was alright.

How the f is not the other guy's fault and why the f have you not sent her to the doctor and contacted a lawyer?

I mean frivolous lawsuits are bad and all - but when you can barley walk...well..that's what insurances are for.

WV is a fault state. I would demand the cops state that it WAS her fault.

The entire situation was sketchy and the cop didnt care and decided no fault and called it quits. I hate it and its all bull. Ill take my aggression out on my door repair now.

I have a few cops in the family and there are a few cops that are just lazy to do police report specially on accident,that's what they tell me.since the hit is behind the front tires you are not responsible since the other driver was in control of the situation or out of control for that matter.get another cop to look into it and file a complain on the stupid cop that said it was no ones fault.just for the record most of their time is used up doing paper work on all the incident that they are called it's part of the job so they should do it.just my 2 cents.

Contact the police officer's supervisor and get a statement down, and get a medical claim for your fiance. Lawyer up buddy!

I have some lawyers down on DC if I have to resort to it. Roads were wet all day and the part that screamed insurance fraud was the fact that this guys policy was expiring ina few weeks. He was harrassing the officer that it was my fiances fault and once it was determined no fault he just paced around like a dog with his tail between his legs. Very very sketchy. I hate having cosmetic damage to my rig but considering I have both front and rear bumpers mangeled from the trails it just adds more character to the rig. Once I get my big boy job a bit more money will be dumped into it, armor all around. One of the first things I thought of after it all was, what would it look like if I had sliders.

When we got home that night we looked at my fiances jeep liberty which sits very low and thought it would have been a much different story.

I agree that some cops just want to fill out paperwork and be done with it. My lady is feeling alot better just very sore, her hip hit the door arm rest and shoulder hit the B pillar so its gunna be sore for a few days.

dude. Insurance will not give you anything if the pig writes it up as a no fault (or 50/50) whichever....

if that P.O.S. Blew a red light and did that to my rig, with some corn-hole with a badge saying that BS, i'd call 911 again and say i'm being assaulted by the pig. You need to rape that ass-clown!

it may not be a big deal cosmetically to you, but that pig and the other douche need to pay for their stupidity!!

i HATE lazy / useless cops (known as PIGS)! they are the reason god made drunk drivers (I've said that to pig's faces before, they didn't laugh! :hurt

do yourself a favor, call any injury lawyer ASAP, you will not regret it! typically it will not cost you any up front money either. and maybe your lady-friend will get some medical attention....

tyr0981, I like your thinking.... Its a crappy situation. I have stuff that can take care of her at home. I have a personal electro stim unit from my multiple knee surgeries and that does wonders to injuries and soreness. New Bumpers were on my list as first, but sliders have now taken priority. I fixed my front bumper from wrapping it around a tree when I slid off a trail in the rain. I prefer to fix it myself if its the easier way out. and then my rear is a mess and fell victim to extreme rust... it looks like Swiss cheese( damn winter chemicals and salt)

All and all, I'm just happy that shes not in the hospital and shes progressing quickly today. And of course My rig is not completely totaled. It was the worst call to get from your future wife, "I got t-boned!!!":faint:
