That's nuts. But also probably why when I went car shopping with my retired parents for a RAV4 2 years ago the salesman was telling me how they sold a lot of the TRD pro trucks to people far away. Because they didn't add any dealer markup.

That's ridiculous! I had a hard time paying sticker for my TRDP. Anyone know if Toyota is still limiting production of the Pro trim? I thought I read somewhere that Toyota no longer has a production limit of 500 or whatever it was?

If we think about resale, not only is there a smaller pool of people who think a TRDP is worth the premium, but that battle blue or whatever it's called is going to significantly shrink the pool. Having said that, if someone out there wants it bad enough and is willing to pay, then more power to them. I think they'd want to fudge a bit on what they paid when asked to avoid the laughter.
