A/C Control Haywire

Hello
The evaporator on my 2006 4runner had a leak so I replaced it but now the temperature of the a/c is all wrong.
When it is on low I freeze and as soon as I take it up one degree to 65, the heater turns on.
Does anyone know what the problem might be?

problem fixed

Fixed the problem, the connection for the temperature sensor, underneath the dash, where the key ignition is located, was disconnected.
