A/C not blowing cold. Charged w/ All New Parts

If your concerned about time between doing the work and having it properly charged you can just pressurize the system using a top-up bottle from where ever local, then it will be vacuumed out later. That will prevent moisture from.entering the system.

You could also pressurize the system with propane. Some people actually use propane as a refrigerant, it's not as efficient, but it works. I've actually used it to find the leak in my AC system... R134 is also flammable so don't be concerned about turning your 4Runner into a pipe bomb

That’s what I ended up doing this evening when it wasn’t so hot. Got it charged up with a can from advance and now it’s blowing cold. Still not as cold as I think it should be, but whatever. When it’s convenient I’ll have Toyota recharge it so I know it’s done right.

The gauge on the aerosol can was very slowly decreasing after I charged it up...

Drier sight glass was solid white.

Ya man, no one wants to work in the AC system in the blazing heat, but blazing heat is the only motivation to get your AC fixed!

Got the A/C sucked and filled hopefully for the last time today! How cold? Ice Cold [emoji51]

I got 3 “nice truck”s today. I guess that’s why I brought it back again. Haha
