Beat me to it.
If it makes you feel any better - this guy feels exactly the same way as you .... when he pulls up next to a cement 4Runner.

Could of been worse could of been next to this. It's my old drift car I painted Toyota cement a few years ago.

The real nightmare will be if/when body work requiring paint is needed. I got a feeling this will be a hard color to match in all lighting conditions.

They are both called Cement, but my FJTT didn't have any metalflake in the paint. From the photos I've seen, the T4R's have a lot of flake.
They both still look good....IMHO!

I know I was pretty upset when the "TRD Pro exclusive" Quicksand I couldn't have on my SR5 4R was suddenly a "standard" color on SR5 Tacomas of the same model year. I won't be surprised if the same happens with Cement.

then I agree. I am genuinely a fan of the color in general, I remember seeing it on a late 80's Carrera, stone grey, might have been the first time I had seen the color in production.

When did they release a work truck trim of the 4runner? Doesn't look too bad with the plastic black grille instead of the normal painted pieces, but I'm sure the cost savings is worth it.
The non-metallic paint hopefully is cheaper too.
Did they do a rubber floor instead of carpet as well?
I'll keep a look out at my local dealers for this work truck trim model.

The TRDP Cement Tundra has a lot of flake in it as well. I love the look but I do wish it didn't have any flake in it. Really, it's more like a pearl I guess. I've been a fan of this color since it came out on the FJ. Great looking FJ, by the way.

Yeah a regular color on a car that was still produced in relatively limited numbers for a few yr's that is no longer even being produced anymore!! Nobody has ever debated the fact it has been offered before.....FJ, etc. Yes it is special on the T4R for the simple fact that it is a one year color, and has only been offered in limited numbers on other Toyota cars and trucks. Just like the blue for 18, or the inferno red for 15, etc ,etc.
