Hi All i tried to look for threads on this but all the threads I have seen are about getting alignment done

My Problem is every time I get my alignment done and go off road it goes out!
I have put the total chaos spindle reinforcement on and the heavy duty alignment tabs on and still have problems
I ran Red Elephant Saturday and didn't hit the front on anything but when I was driving home the steering wheel is not straight anymore

I am looking for any suggestions please
thanks in advance

Which part of the alignment is going out each time? If its the lower control arm cams Im not sure but if your tie rod is getting loose maybe adding a little thread locker would help?

I am not too sure I just always know the wheel is crooked and this time I noticed the drivers side wheel is turned and the passengers side is straight

Thats really odd. If you were still running the stock lower control arms I would say maybe the bushings are going which could be causing part of the issue but since you are running long travel i would rule that out. To me it points to something with the tie rod since you see a noticeable angle on the driver side. If the wheel is always crooked even when its stationary the dude may have messed up the tie rod adjustment because that would directly cause the angle of the steering wheel.

the reason I say this is when I swapped my steering wheel I had it one spline off so when it was driving straight the wheel was turned to the right.

In my 03, I hit a washout hard and steering wheel is way off center. I know some stuff is worn so I ordered it all but I drove home o er 2k miles and no tire wear and it tracks straight. Kinda weird. At 130k the lower arms were squeaking and inner tie rods were worn too. After the new parts I will see where it sits. My spindles are gusseted too and upper Icon control arms.

I just had the lower control arm bushings replaced (2nd time the first time 4wheel said they did it but they didn't) I had the steering rack replaced also

do they make heavier duty tie rods?

I ordered all mine from Toyota. I didn't see any heavy duty aftermarket ones.

I just looked online and I didnt see any heavy duty ones. I only have some basic knowledge on suspension parts so I dont want to lead you wrong haha. If possible I would just have those checked and hopefully its an easy fix

I really appreciate your help I am just frustrated a bit
I will have my friend ( he’s the one that did the alignment) look at it again when he gets back from vacation

I agree with a John above.

It kind of sounds like one of your tie rod or tie rod ends was damaged and now it won’t hold toe.

Perhaps have the rods and the ends checked. Like taken off, remove ends, check threads.

Thanks I will have that checked maybe he over tightened it and damaged the threads

It's already been mentioned but tie rods and cam bolt torque. Make sure he's torquing to at least 100 lbs while the vehicle is on the ground. Another thing you can do (and I plan on doing this after my next alignment) is use a paint pen to mark your cam tabs. If the cam tabs aren't moving it's likely the tie rods, if they are moving they aren't torqued enough.

It's not a bad idea to mark ALL of your major suspension hardware with a paint pen. Not just the cam bolts. The underside of my 4R is covered with stripes and dabs of red torque seal.

Agreed. Since November I've had a caliper bolt, a cam bolt, and a rear link bolt all go loose enough to cause issues and I check my bolts before every trip (once a month) This last round I finally got a paint pen and started marking everything so I can quickly inspect my bolts if something doesn't feel right once I hit pavement.

Loosing a caliper bolt is something you only let happen ONCE! Speaking from experience there..
