A few 2003 questions

1) When I come to a complete stop or start from a stop i hear a creak noise in the back. its like a brief click creak thing. I don't know if thats normal but we all noticed it when we bought the car last year and just passed it off as normal. Is it?

2) Also, what's the top speed on my vehicle? I saw some videos on youtube, one video going 105, the other reaching the max on the speedometer.

I hit 106 mph. That goddam creak is hitting my 05 V8 SE also. Mainly when the car is cold or after sitting overnight I get a creaking noise in both the front and rear from the brakes when I release them after shifting gears, i.e. from P into R or R into drive. It is beginning to annoy me- I had it into the dealership and they were inspected and cleaned and nothing was found out of the ordinary with them. After that they were quiet for about 1 week and began making noise again. I even started a post about it- I believe someone posted that it may have something to do with the shims on the pads. If you find anything out let me know. I am going to take it to an independent Toyota specialist who might be able to figure it out.
