I learned yesterday that I'll be headed back to Atlanta to fly a Hawker 800XP for a great outfit and today I am a moderator! Life is good.:bigok:

I have needed a job for a full year as of the 20th of Feb. I haven't had a 'real paycheck' since April 20th. Whew... That's all I can say.

Thanks to everyone here for creating a 'cool escape' for me, it truly has helped with the stress.

Well, welcome on being a moderator on this forum and on being in Atlanta. That is two things we have in common. Oh yeah, whe both have 4Runners. :bigok:

I leave Wed for Wichita for a 3 week school on how to fly this particular type of jet (Hawker 800XP). I can't wait.

A full year? No wonder you have had time to post over 2000 times! haha :bigok: I guess I will have to try to take up your slack in posting since I am now unemployed. Congrats on being a mod and on the new job. Anything to do with flying has to be a sweet gig!

It is a good thing that CJ3Flyr got a real job because moderator pay is right below nothing, benefits are few, responsibility is great, and risk of backlash is great. :D

As enticing as Omaha sounds that's a bit off course for this trip:)


4runr30, good luck. I hope it's short and painless as possible. I was down. Every news program portrayed corp aviation as a rich-boy toy and a perk. Corp aviation became a symbol of all that is wrong. I didn't know if I'd ever work again. Point is stay informed, out there and trying. It'll work out. Don't become a 24hr news junkie like I did. You'll go crazy & the media is wrong a good percentile of the time...
