A happy new owner

I've been browsing this and other SUV forums for two years now. I'm retired, and wanted an honest, rugged, reliable vehicle for modest usage--some moderate towing, occasional hauling. Also, living in the boondocks, I wanted to be able to get out when the rains came and washed out the dirt roads.

After flirting with Hondas (Pilot, Ridgeline), and checking out a few others, I settled on the 4Runner about a year ago. Whereas other SUVs were essentially beefed-up cars, I liked the 4Runner's straight-up truck approach, and a refined one at that.

Since then, I've been reading and occasionally participating in the toyota-4runner.org forums, trying to educate myself about the 4Runner. I had time on my side, and I wanted to wanted to find just the right 4R.

Well, I am happy to say that my search is over. If I did things right, a picture should be attached below.

It's a 2005 Sport with a V6, 21000 miles, and 4wd. It's most unique feature is that it has very nice black, heated leather seats. Otherwise, it's a stock Sport.

I want to thank Uneek and the other generous and helpful people on this forum. Your advice and suggestions to me and others was just what I needed to find my perfect 4R. Thanks, guys and gals.
