a little tire rub

I have a 2001 4x4. I just put 265/75/16 Firestone MT's. Everything on the truck is stock. The tire rub just a little bit if I turn all the way or go up my driveway a little fast. Not bad at all but just a little bit. I like how the truck looks so I would like to raise it as little as possible. What is the least amount I can raise my truck and HOw? Or any other Ideas?

you can always have a spacer so it would stretch outward? but you can also lift your car up, which i'm not good at that. sorry!:arrow:

you can always use spacers, but if you want to lift a little to fit even larger tires on then you can always use Old Man Emu's lift for the 3rd gen. its a great lift and gives you about 1.5" up front and 2.5" in the back im not sure those are the exact numbers, but the lift is enough to clear 33" tires and rides better than stock

Buy coils for a '99 4Runner which will give you an inch of lift back and not compromise the stock ride. OEM coils can be had for about $200 on-line.

That's a good way to go. I put spacers on since I had the same problem. They compressed the springs a bit more which turned out better for me, a bit stiffer of a ride. All depends how much money you've got.

1" Spacers all around or you can get a 1" 4Crawler (Roger Brown) bodylift... Cost is about $120ish...

If you just want a little lift and don't want to spend cash, just do a body lift. Grimpy is right-on w/ the 4crawler kit. Plus, you won't be messing w/ your suspension so no alignment issues. Plus a one-inch body lift does not require dropping anything.
