This is my second thread here on the site. I just want to say hello and share some pics of my 4Runner. The first two pics are with the old Dunlop 265/65/17 on her. I wish she was still that clean.

Hey! Nice ride....I hope you enjoy the tires....

I just slapped a set of AT REVOS on my wifes '98 4runner after reading all the good news about them on this site and others.

They put 265/75 R16's on so its about 5% higher than the stock tires.

They ride nice on the highway and in the rain...very very nice so far.

I was on active duty in the Marines from '89 to '93. I was trained as 0341 and for MCSF. I spent about 2 yrs in MCSF Atlantic and 1 1/2 yrs in the Fleet, with 3/2 & 3/8. So what are you doing in Okie?

I am located about equal distance between Houghton Lake and Traverse City.

The 4Runner handles the snow great, especially with her new shoes. A lot less tire spin with the REVOs. I also really like having the AWD and not having to shift in and out of 4WD.

Great looking truck you have there. We have that same blue here but it is hard to come by in this area.

I had already checked out your website. Nice Kawasaki Jet Ski you have there. My first love is motorcycles, specifically Kawasaki motorcycles. Here is a pic of my Kawasaki ZX-7RR.

The long summer here (April-November) makes riding a bike to painful due to the oppressive heat and humidity and the protective gear the military makes you wear.

My "water bike" only requires shorts and a life vest and if I get hot, I stop and jump in the water.

I needed the REVO tires to launch from beaches and the soft sand. The picture of my truck in the beach sand is where the miltary uses a front loader to launch their stuff because they don't want to get stuck.

My Surf, in 4HI, without even locking the center diff, and the REVO tires do it no problem.

Tires

Anybody with 265/70/17's, how much room do you have between the wheel and the well, thinking of getting 275/70/17's but not sure they would fit (about .28inch taller).

I don't believe they will fit without significant rubbing, especially at full turn. I've never measured the clearance but my eyeball says the 265-70-17 clearance on full turns is LT 1/4".

Taking off the mud flaps probably would help a little but not much without lift.
