A New Moderator

Perhaps you noticed we got a new Moderator to help out this Forum. We got our 1,000th member after 14 months of operating and it looks like we will get our 2,000th member in the next 5 months. We were looking for someone else to help and momo.75 was a obivious choice since he has helped us with a new design logo and now he designed the new sticker.

Bottom line is he accepted and you can now bug him if there is a problem. :p I hope he knows what he is getting himself into.:D Congrats momo.75

Momo is a good choice. In addition we finally have a 4th gen owner as a moderator makes us 4th gen owners feel a little bit more represented.

Thanks guys! I am looking foward to working with all these great guys to build this site into a recognized home for 4Runner owners and enthusiasts. Of course I am not here to rule with an iron fist, that would be the owners position, but I just see my role as somebody to help keep organization and give ideas. Thanks again to the owners for the consideration.:thumb:

Congrats! I've only been a member for about a week but I enjoy reading and seeing pictures of everyone elses ride. Keep up the good work!

So what is jharris2, chop liver???

:D Oh no, now the 1st and 2nd gen owners are gonna demand equal representation :D Welcome aboard Momo :)

As member 1000 I'd like to congratulate Momo! Now we have 2 4th Gen owners as mods. We're gonna take over the world! :D

Let's do this: anyone that does not own a 4th generation 4 Runner, turn it in ASAP for a newer model.

Problem Solved!!!! :D

In my eyes there are not 1st gens, 3rd gens, 2nd's or 4th's.......I only see 4Runner. I would give you my famous "I Have a 4Runner Dream Speech", but I need to go put my sticker on my clean truck (Finally!!!) and take a pic.:D

Well I wouldn't go that far. But Thai and GatorGreg did try and get some fair representation; i.e. TSP-MIKE is a 2nd Generation owner, peter78 is a 3rd Generation owner and jharris2 and now momo.75 are 4th Generation owners. (All are Moderators.)

Now our Administrators are a different story, GatorGreg has a Lexus LX 470 and Thai has (maybe) a 3rd Generation 4Runner, but Heaven Forbid, he is thinking of trading it in.:sobbing: (MAYBE)

We have more 4th Generation owners, then we have quite a few 3rd and 2nd Generation owners, maybe a hand full of 1st Generation Owners. Actually I love them all, I have driven the first 3 Generations and have sat in the 4th Generation, I am afraid to drive it as I might take it home.

Welcome, Momo...great job on the logo and sticker design!:thumb:

And i see that Momo is already hard at work...moving his first post to another subforum! Damn, these youngsters learn so quickly!:D

Momo the Moderator

"Momo the Moderator"

The proper grammatical term for such use of repeated consonants is alliteration and "assonance" for the vowels, I do believe. Need I say more...:p

One thing about this thread...if not this one for future I would not use the word mod for reference to a moderator, because when I read the title, the first thing that came to mind is, "New mod, I wonder what they did to their 4 Runner now."

Your right, when I read the title yesterday, I did not regonize it as my thread and I thought it was about a Modification that had been done. I think I will change the title. Good Point.
