A pillar handle?

To be fair, nobody's going to pass on a 4Runner because of an A-Pillar handle. It's certainly not on my top list of things I notice when being wowed by my new car. You especially wouldn't notice if it's an expectation until much later.

Making a note here. Biggest problems of the 4Runner:
-No Supercharger
-Needs bigger cupholders
-Needs driver A-Pillar handhold

4WD too complex for average user
Should have off road look tires from factory
Oh... HIDS and LED'S dammit
Oil change should be every 500 miles to make owner feel useful

Watt the fuuu... Going from my '96 to a '16 I expected soo much more, one thing in particular is the A pillar handle, I'm going to be lifted soon and I used it all the time, has anybody installed one on the drivers side?
... And don't even get me going with the non locking gas door, fuel economy, clutch fan, and dust on my back window...

I realize this is forever old but the very first things my Mom complained about in her new TRD Off Road Premium were that it didn't have an A-Pillar handle (she's short) & that the fuel door doesn't lock (she had her Jeep's tank drained in a motel parking lot a year or two ago). I can't say I understand the abuse above. Both things seem like reasonable expectations. Frankly, I'm also surprised that the power seats don't have 2 memory positions-very helpful when you have 2 drivers of different dimensions.

You have to get a Limited if you want memory drivers seat. Mine has 2 driver settings.

These are exactly the things I wish my OR Premium had. I know the a-pillar isn't a big deal to many, but my Tacoma had it, and I got used to it being there lol.
