A question about the ABS dash light staying on.

I replaced my front shocks and must have done something to disturb the ABS system because the light is now showing on the dash.
All the wiring to the brakes looks fine.

Is there a way to reset the light by either disconnecting the battery or possibly a re-set button on the ECU ? This is on a 97 4x4 SR5.

Any help on this subject is appreciated.

Thanks

Joel

I checked it out, good suggestion.

The light went out for whatever reason. I did have the front end apart to install shocks, but didn't think I disturbed anything....

I had a similar problem, my cruise would kick off by itself once n a while and every so often the ABS light would come on and stay on, actually got to the point that I could not get the trans to shift from park. Ended up being a bad brake switch, on the pedal. Also if the trans thing happens to you, that little caver next to the shifter, pop that off with a screwdriver and a magical button will appear, push that button and you will be able to shift the trans.
