I doubt it, the FE is used in FWD applications, so it mounts on a 15* angle.
It also has very little in common with the E.

I have a first gen 4runner 4weel drive with
The dreaded 3vze iv rebuilt the engine twice
Already. I want to put the 3vzfe into it
Is it easy to do or is there a bunch of problems
With doing that?

Toyota VZ engine - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

^^ Read that. The 3VZE and 3VZFE are not the same motor. They're the same basic block, but the FE is set up to mount sideways and tilted and mate with a front wheel drive trans. It will not bolt up. You will have to do way more fab than you're ready for.

The 5VZE is the easiest swap into a truck with a 3VZE engine bay.

Ya as you can tell I'm a little new to this
I do however know the first and second gen
4 runners very well but engine swaps are new
To me. So the third gen engine would be my
Best bet as far as I can tell. Can that be
Put in with little effect? Thank you very much
For the replys.

There is a lot involved. But the good news is it has been done, a lot, before and there is more info out there than you, as my Grandpappy would say, could shake a stick at. Google man. Even searching on here will get you all the info you need.

As far as my opinion on it, I will say this though. Step 1: buy a donor vehicle so you get everything you need in one spot.

Yes technology I'm only 22 but I'm a cave man
It took me a year to figure out how to make
A post. But I am very michanicly incline
So the information flow is difficult to take
That's why I like this forum I can talk with
People who have a similar mind set. It's really
Nice.

since your going from v6 to v6. it will bolt right in. no need to fab any motor mounts and what not.

the hardest part and by hardest i mean most people are just not good with wires. im not afraid of any wiring but if i where to do a swap, i will enlist a local person that has done it to help me out.

if money allows, you pretty much can buy a complete harness made for the swap including the crossover. all you have to do is swap the motor and install the harness.

That's just what I wanted to hear. I myself
Am not so great with wires but I know a few
Who do. I like on a moutain with lots of
Lifted trucks but there all fords an Chevys
