A South African 4 runner lover needs assistance.

Since the day i bought my 2nd gen 4runner, i was in love. drove obstacles and places that let my hair stand on end.

My biggest problem is to get parts for the vehicle. In South African the 4 runner was not launched thus part are not easily available. I have surfed endless nights but to no avail. i found the Toyotapartzone but they do not ship to South Africa.

Do any of you know of i company i could contact to assist in ordering parts for my beloved to get her running smoothly again.

Amazon will probably ship to you, but don't trust their parts lookup, get your parts numbers elsewhere.

I know there are tons of 3rd generation Hilux pickups on that continent, surprising there are not enough 4runners to make parts for them available there. Depending on the parts you need you could more than likely source them from a Hilux.

There are also quite a few Toyota outfits from Australia that might ship your way.

thanks for the info guys, the parts i require is the idle arm assembly left and right, and of course the whole clutch system. i will even go as far and transfer money into a forum members account to assist me in buying the parts in the US or Australia and include shipping money as well.

I will investigate amazon and the Rockauto.com to see if they can assist in my quest for getting my baby on the unbeaten track again.
