Bought a 1999 SR5 that supposedly had the tranny get engine coolant contamination from radiator. Owner says he replaced the radiator and had the tranny flushed out and things seemed fine for a while. Suddenly when starting up after sitting overnite he says it would only go forward for about 30 seconds then not move. When I picked it up it would go forward but acted like something was cutting the power back, tried driving onto trailer, shut her off and winched it on trailer. Got it home and checked it over, tranny fluid shows no sign of the pink milkshake although he said it was flushed and thought for sure there would be some contamination left over. Checked all fluids and started it up, went into reverse just fine and backed up aways no problem. Got into drive and the power was cutting out and barely moving , then it acted like it was in neutral in drive and reverse. Maybe it is just plain slipping, don't know. I have another good tranny for it but thought I would check this one over before trashing it. Any thoughts on this ?

No matter if all the milkshake was flushed out, the damage was done. Only saving grace would have been shut it down immediately once the radiator failed and replace the fluids and radiator STAT. Otherwise, even though it might have seemed to run fine afterwards, it's life span had been cut down Dramatically. This transmission is done for.
