OW coils went on today. Very easy swap after all the planning/research I put into it. I haven't really seen it done here, so I made a write-up on the process. Ride is much better, it's a lot smoother than it ever was with the air bags (even at stock height, it's always been pretty rough in the rear). I don't have any pics of the 4runner after the install. I was able to get rid of the driver side lean by using the OME trim packer, it's within 1/8" of the passenger side with a full tank. With less gas it should be dead even. Overall, it sits about 1/4" higher in the rear than it did before, just what I wanted.

There are pics in the link I posted for the conversion. I'll try to take some of the full vehicle sometime this week. I found a guy selling the rear kit because he upgraded to the 2.5 kit since he added bumpers front/rear. The kit only has around 5000 miles so it's practically new. If your wanting the shocks, you can call radflo and purchase them, just request the OW spec shocks when ordering.

Llennium, those were taken on Mount Magazine. I can try to mark them on a map if you're interested. There aren't any trails there, the pond is right off the highway and the creek bed (which typically has a couple feet of water) is a couple miles down a dirt road.

I've really been wanting to try out the OW kit off road, finally had an opportunity to do so yesterday. Met up with a fellow member (2nd gen) and headed to Superlift ORV Park in Hot Springs. The suspension worked amazingly well. We didn't hit anything too extreme, but there were a lot of off camber hill situations where it really flexed out and I was able to keep all four tires planted. Also rolled over 168k miles on the trails, 4runner handled it like a champ.

A few flex pics. Could have went higher but the rear was rubbing pretty bad so I didn't push it. I'm going to have to remove the rear mud flaps from the way it looks.

Got my Speedohealer installed today, it's great to finally have an accurate speedometer/odometer after the new tires. Mine was roughly 8% off (waiting to put some miles on it to dial it in exactly). Install is pretty easy and calibration was a snap. I'll also mention that I ordered it from solomotoparts.com and was very impressed. I ordered it on Thursday night, chose the free shipping option, and it was delivered on Monday (shipping from California to Arkansas). At $117 it wasn't a cheap solution, but highly recommended.

I originally tried using an OME rear trim packer to correct the driver side lean when installing my OW 2.0 rear kit. It didn't do much, so following suggestions from other members I installed a Daystar 1.5" spacer on the driver side and moved the OME trim packer to the right. Estimated that I gained 1" lift and leveled it out to within 1/4". It also added some rake back, which I prefer. I'm hoping this will give me enough clearance the rear won't rub any more since I really don't want to remove the rear mud flaps. Here's a few pics from a short trial ride today (also turned over 170k miles on this trip).

Haha, mostly just prancing around the malls! Seriously though, been hooked up hunting since the first of September, haven't been around much. Yea Josh and I went, had no idea his motor blew. When did that happen?

Well, at least it's another 4runner!! We'll have to get something planned soon. After last trip to superlift I feel like I really need a set of sliders...afraid those running boards would be toast.

I've been set on the Stubbs HD-SKO but I really like the kick outs on the BAMF sliders and think they may be my choice. I've considered sliders but everyone I've talked to is gonna charge an arm and a leg to weld them on. Bolt on's would probably be more than sufficient, but I'd rather go ahead and get them welded for added strength. I'm really needing to do something with my seats, probably gonna be ordering some Clazzios soon and maybe sliders sometime after that.
