? about spacers with FJC suspension

I apologize if this has been covered. I tried searching and found that a lot of people do use spacers with the FJC setup, but none that specified which kit. I want to get the Daystar 2.5/1.5, but will also have the FJC (Bilstein) suspension installed. Im assuming this is a straight forward install, and nothing special has to be done? I also noticed the 4R and FCJ spacer kits have different part numbers...

Which do I want? KT09115BK? This is being installed on an 05 4runner SR5.

the fj springs will give a 1/2-1 in. lift, are u still gonna go for the 2.5/1.5 spacer lift? http://www.toyota-4runner.org/showthread.php?t=55001&highlight=suspension

I just ordered the same set up (DS 2.5/1.5, Full FJ Set up), just waiting for the front struts to come in. Install should be done this tuesday. Check page 3 or 4 under the lifts and tires sticky under 4th gens. There is a salsa red sport ed that looks awesome with the same set up!

Edit: The KT09115BK should be fine since the t4r and fj set up are the same (someone will correct me if im wrong) I ordered the KT09124BK from Amazon just because it was the only 2.5/1.5 left. Its for an FJ but I cross matched it and it will work for a t4r as well.

Thanks for the link. That's one I skipped over somehow.

I think it will be about perfect for me, with both. I know the small lift with just the FJ suspension wouldnt hold me over, so I wanted to do both at the same time. Im assuming that lift wont cause any issues on an otherwise stock 4R?

That was my thinking. If im gonna spend the money to have it aligned after I might as well do it all at once. As for potential problems, I talked to a guy on toyota120 who had the set up on an 05. He said it shouldnt cause any problems to just take it slow while installing. Hopefully someone can shed some light on exactly what we need to be careful NOT to do.

The only thing I have never had to do when installing anything suspension related is removing that upper ball joint. That part worries me, but Im assuming isnt too hard. I was more or less wondering if the lift will cause any premature wear on other parts of the car.
