About to buy..good deal?

Hey guys,
Looking at a new 2008 SR5 V6 4x4 listed from MSRP of 32,500 down to 26,166. Is this a good deal? I'm really tempted to hop on it but wonder if I can get it down even lower?

Also V6 have plenty of power?

Plenty of power... If you live at a high elevation and tow in excess of 3-4k lbs a lot then the V8 would be better.

That price sounds pretty good to me. Mine listed for $500 more and I got mine for $26.8 and feel as though I got a fair deal (pre$4+/gallon gas).

You have a good amount of time and options on extended warranty. There's Toyota Platinum available online (cheap) after you make the purchase. Don't let 'em push you too hard on that. I am pretty sure it can be had for a grand or less (last time I checked).

There's a ton of V8 vs V6 threads. This is the short story. No v8 owner would trade for a V6. Only a very few V6 owners would trade for a V8. You can't go wrong. MPG: On average, in the "real world", there's 1.0-1.5mpg advantage to the V6. The V6 has a timing chain and super easy oil changes. The V8 is a little harder to change the oil and has a t-belt that needs attention at 90k. The V8 is super smooth and torquey (not that the V6 lacks but it is a V6).

When you take delivery make the dealer program your doorlocks the way you want them to run. Don't accept that "you can do it, it's in the manual". It's a PIA.
