Picked up this stuff off craigslist a few weeks ago while in Vegas ... 2014 Tacoma Trd front springs and struts and rear shocks. The guy said they have 9k miles on them and basically look brand new.

I also picked up a lift from a guy.. He wasn't sure what he had.. Turns out it's a complete ready lift kit that was just missing the front spacer but included was a front daystar 2.5 lift

My truck is a 04 with xreas so I gotta rip that off

Other than what's shown is there anything else I will need?

Any tips/ tricks for instal will be appreciated as well

If i was visiting my fam in Illinois i would have loved to help out. Installing a lift if mad fun! Definitely post pics when you're done. When I drive over to Illinois and if you're down to check badlands off road park in Indiana let me know!

You'll need to get some new bushings for rear shocks. Other than that, looks like you're good to go! Good luck!

I found the part at a local parts house. O'reilly's and Autozone should be able to order them too. Energy Suspension part # 9.8108G. Should be around $5-$10.

I'm down for badlands or cliffs anytime

Since you live in IL, you probably know this already, but mix up about 5% acetone and 95% ATF for a nice home made penetrating oil... Then spray all the suspension components (nuts, bolts, studs, etc) every day for a week.

This will make the lift install doable.

Good luck!

I had this done to my 06 4r a few months ago, I picked up a set of rear springs from a 2014 FJ over on the FJ forum to complete the swap and my truck is like new. I would recommend the poly bushings uggrade that you can read about as well.

Did it lift your truck at all from stock? I have heard it will add an inch or so to stock and have the daystar 2.5 lift to add as well I'm thinkn now it might be too high after reading some post that say the springs will lift u closer to 2 inches alone.. Can anyone chime in on this?

I have the V6 so if you have a V8 your height might be different. I didn't measure with a tape but I got about an inch in the front with the Tacoma Struts and about an additional 1/2" from the FJ springs in the rear. I am sitting level so if you like a slight rake you'll need a spacer in the back. One thing I wish I did was add spacers on the drivers side front and rear to fix the 4runner lean.
