Abq, NM. 3rd gen. Over from yotatech.

Hello everyone,

I have been on yotatech's forums for quite some time. I didn't post a whole lot, but I read all the time. You may know me by Ripcord_4Runner, but like I said, I didn't post very much. Yotatech has always been a place for mostly older generation 4runner and pickups. While there is a huge amount of info for 3rd gen's on yotatech that I will continue to use, I just wanted to join a community that was more focused on later model 4runners. And hopefully find some guys nearby to wheel with!
So here I am.

Ah, good ol' flat yellow NM license plate. I loved my green Centennial plates when I was living in Santa Fe. Nice rig by the way, My T4R actually lived in ABQ before it belonged to me.

flat yellow plates are the only way to go. I get mad when I see the stupid green centennial ones. It's still 2 years away for crying out loud!

Ya know it's funny, one of the reasons I bought my T4R was so that I would have a good platform for paying visits back to the land of Entrapment (er wait, enchantment) to go to weekend long electronic music parties up in the mountains above Taos, and various other places. I could let you know the next time I do so if you have any interest in wheeling up there.

I've seen that 4runner before! I used to live on the west side and still go back quite often. Nice 4runner.

I actually prefer the UNM plates over all the rest for looks. I have the ballon plates on both my vehicles. It's really not that big of a deal to me.

Word, I agree, it's really not that big a deal to me, except that when I was living in New Mexico, I had a CRX that was the same flat yellow, and it had hardly any clear coat left, so with the regular flat yellow NM plates it looked so bad! (And also I think the centennial plates look nice; Especially next to the Texas plates I grew up with...)

Had balloons plates on my '01 taco. But, Yeah UNM plates are the best, i'm actually a student there. maybe i'll get one soon.
