ABS/ Brake glitch

02 4runner SR5 V6. I had some brake fluid leak out of the area of the reservoir, ABS control module, or what appears to be the master cylinder. I have had the runner for a year and put 10K to make it 133K on the clock. Has anybody heard of any problems with the ABS module which runs $1,000 plus at the dealer, or anything with a pressure "burp" that might have forced fluid out? Any thoughts helpful.

Not positive, but I believe the brake abs module is electronic. Most likely you had the leak from the master cylinder or reservoir.

That makes sense. Thanks, I am going to clean the area and wait to see where it is bleeding from if it actually is.

Hello there, Have you already resolved this problem? I guess the leak comes from the reservoir. My father has the same problem before but and he just cleaned the reservoir.
