abs need bleeding?

Hi all,

about a year ago one of the front calipers blew. the brake system went dry. brought it to nearest mechanic. Got one caliper replaced, noticed the brakes still had air in them. went to my actual mechanic, he replaced the rear calipers with 5th gen, and the other front caliper. We flushed the brake fluid one more time.

I keep reading the 4th gen needs a scan tool to bleed the abs? I doubt either one used a scan tool to bleed the abs system. Should I go to toyota have them bleed the abs system? The petal feels very firm, and the best it has been since we bought the car. however the other day i noticed when the ABS was engaged, it made a very loud noise. I know abs make noise when engaged, but it seems much louder than normal.

What do you guys think? I rather not waste 200 bucks to flush the brake fluid if its already good. But if the abs needs to be specially bleed because the master cylinder was totally empty, then ill go a head and have them do it when i go for an inspection this weekend.

If it feels normal and no lights on the dash, and functions like it's support to. I say your good.
I haven't used no scan tool to bleed mine when I changed my pads.
