ABS removed?

rolling blackout

I have a1995 4runner,and just bought a total chaos kit for it, and it looks like I am gonna need to remove the ABS sensors on the front. I figure that this will cause the abs light to stay on, is there any other effects this may cause (other than the ABS not working)?

Total chaos makes long travel IFS, mainly for desert racing, but can be used on a rock crawler.

For a cheaper option check out Blazeland. /hijack.

For the OP... Why cant you use the ABS? Can you just extend the wires? Im no help on the light, but just a heads up, on some state inspections, it wont pass if the ABS light is on.

I guess the wires could be extended.... but I also have a different spindle/hub/rotor assembly (has manual hubs) that I was going to use instead but it came off of a truck without abs.
I don't think its a big deal. Just wanted to see if anyone else has run into this before.

My 95 came with only rear ABS but I do believe that 4wheel ABS was an option... I would simply extend the wires if retaining the factory hubs.

Yes. I finally looked. Starting in 1993, the V6 models were given four wheel ABS. Before this, and on 4cyl it was only rear wheel and only when in 2wd.
