ABS VCS VSC & CEL warning lamps

I just had a shop change a left front wheel bearing on my 03 4runner V8 and the ABS light came on after picking it up? the shop told me that it was the bearing itself and to take it back monday to replace it. They said it was not reading the the part signal??!! I changed out a wheel bearing before on a pontiac and never encountered this problem how does a bearing produce a signal and the senosr not read it? Am I getting you know what? The good thing is they will replace at no cost to me but I wanted to know anyone else had this problem?

See what the check engine light says. I'm a mechanic myself and we have seen where all those lights come on, but really it was a code for the a/f ratio sensor. Seems like Toyota just does that to make you rush into the dealer. Most likely it will reflect the hub bearing/ whatever work they might of done. gl.

Sounds like they may have messed up your ABS sensor or its cable asembly while working on the bearings on the front wheel. I had a leaking CV boot on the driver's side and the dealership here did the same thing. When I returned to pickup the vehicle the mechanic said the ABS light is on now because of corrosion on the connector (BS) and I need to buy a new wire harness for the sensor at $200.00. Turns out that while the mechanic was removing the axle he tried to remove the ABS connector (a very difficult job without first removing the senor from the wheel assembly) instead of removing the whole sensor from the wheel assemble. After some arguing (negotiation) they fixed the ABS problem at their expense.

In my case I was getting the other indicators you got but no Check Engine Light.
