ABS Warning Lights / and Power Steering Light??

Hi all,

So recently my ABS lights came on. To be exact, it was the ABS light, Brake warning light, and slip indicator light as well as a flashing 4wd light.

I have long travel on there, so i did extend the lower harnesses. I tested the harnesses, and one had a fairly high resistance, so i re-wired it and got the resistance down, but still have all of the abs lights on.

However, I did notice that when the vehicle is in park, the power steering light comes on. and goes off as soon as it is placed in drive.

As far as ABS, i do still plan to chase this, but is there any reason that the power steering light would go on?

When the power steering light first went on, I had pulled one side of the ABS harness, and drove the vehicle to a new location. So maybe it needs a reset?I pulled the battery for 30 or so minutes, and it didn't clear. Its weird that the light would only be on in park?

Any thoughts or suggestions would be extremely appreciated.
Thank you

Update - found one of the issues. Had a disconnected/corroded wire on the driver side. the unlinked wire was causing the power steering light to go on.

Plugged in the code reader and it says front right abs short/sensor. So i went ahead and ordered a new one, so we will see what happens. Ill be installing that tomorrow and will post an update.

Hi Krelnydelnky,

...funny you should mention this "Instrument Cluster Icon issue" because I just did a write-up on the subject a few hours ago!:

Instrument Cluster warning Icons all lit-up!

I'm sure everything will turn our alright, you seem to have it under control! 'Best',
