AC blowing hot, leak seal or just recharge?

Pay the money to have a shop pressure test it. AC that needs to be recharged will slowly blow warmer over time. 2014 shouldn't need a recharge.
Absolutely don't use leak sealer crap. Should never use that for coolant or AC system unless you're using it as a bandaid and will be replacing the whole system soon.

If your gonna just recharge it- knowing it leaks - at least get the one with UV dye so you can figure out where its leaking.

Keep in mind that too much refrigerant in the system can cause problems too. I would be cautious putting more refrigerant in without being able to do so properly.
I am no expert in HVAC but I do not believe there is a way to simply add more refrigerant to the closed system, without emptying the entire system via vacuum and reinstalling the correct amount of refrigerant for the said vehicle. Those refill cans are marketed well but will not give you all the tools to properly recharge the system.

I use to think that A/C was 10% black magic. A/C blowing warm air can be caused by many things. As mentioned before, you can do a little troubleshooting on your own. It's important to remember that the A/C is a closed circuit. Unless there is a leak, you should never have to add refrigerant. Adding refrigerant won't make your A/C colder. These systems are designed to use a specific amount of a specific refrigerant. I would agree not to add any type of sealant. Pay the money have have the system pressure tested. They will throw some gauges on and see if there is currently any refrigerant in the system. If there isn't or the pressures are low, then you have a leak and it will need to be fixed. As a preventative maintenance, keep the condenser (radiator looking part) clean when washing your vehicle. Good luck.
My 2005 SR5 with 120,000 miles had the AC go out. I took to an "outback" AC joint here in the Bahamas where their top mechanic topped it off twice, but it would only last a week. The dealer would have charged me over $1,000 (without parts) to fix. It would have taken months getting it in the dealer and back - over and over again.
The AC mechanic then put some dye in it - gave it another charge - and when it went "hot" again in three days, he checked for the dye leak.
After looking at my 12-year-old compressor and the dye around it, he came up and said get a new AC compressor. We'll install it and charge it up for $150.
I purchased one brand new Denso compressor on Amazon for $190, and I've had good AC for two years now. It was a Denso and fit perfectly Amazon.com: Denso 471-1413 New Compressor with Clutch: Automotive
Don't try this yourself. You need to evacuate the system when replacing a compressor, check for leaks, and it takes a lot of "know-how" and special equipment. :beer:
Also, a AC compressor has about 100 seals in it, so rebuilding one with half a brain is something no one does.
My Amazon account says this about the Denso AC compressor: "You last purchased this item on August 8, 2018."
