Yeah, vac pressure dropped a little and then held consistent for a good amount of time.

Throughout charging the system, I could not get the compressor to engage. I charged the low side to 90psi before finally pulling the low pressure switch and bypassing with a piece of wire. Only then did the compressor engage. I topped it off with 2 cans before calling it quits last night, was blowing cold. I have yet to check it today...

The "low pressure switch" is really not just low pressure, it is multi pressure. It is supposed to turn the compressor off if the pressure is lower then 28 psi or if it is higher then 455 psi. Sounds like you have a bad switch.

Two cans is plenty. Let us know how it turns out.

The determination continues, on to the multi-pressure switch..

So, it looks like replacing this switch is going to mean another vac and refill?

Run it with your jumper for a while (just until your part comes in), just to make sure you don't have any other issues.

On the some cars the valve is screwed on to a Schroeder valve, and for some others its not. You will see in the valve comes in.

Where exactly is this valve and how do I access it? I have my glove box out.
