AC Light Blinking

Hi everyone last week I bought a 2003 4 Runner with about a hundred and sixty six thousand miles on it. When I turn on the AC it runs cold for about 15 seconds and then the AC Arrow starts blinking and it goes from cool to room temp it doesn't cool anymore any suggestions?

These two threads and a link to the Technical Service Bulletin might help - hopefully it is just your Magnetic Clutch Relay that needs to be replaced.

So what if your ac compressor is cycling every 15 seconds but the ac light is not blinking? I am pretty sure I have the original relay so I will try looking into that first. Hopefully that fixes the issue.

ours did that it was the AC amplifier

Swap the A/C relay out and replace with your fog light relay. If the A/C works you found the problem and need a new relay - costs under $10.
