AC Manifold Gauge Question

I checked the H L pressure on my AC line with a manifold gauge. When removing the gauge, there is pressurized refrigerant still in the manifold gauge! How to I safely release this refrigerant to get my pressures on the gauge to fall back to 0psi???

you can leave it like that,it won't harm it.if you want you can just vent it out by loosening the fittings.:driving:
