AC Pressure Switch Replacement

So, I have just developed an issue with my AC. Did the auto climate control diagnostics and it says code 21 (Solar Sensor) and code 23 (Pressure Switch Circuit)

QUESTION: Has anyone ever replaced the Pressure Switch on their rig? If so, any tips?

The pressure switch threads into the coolant line and I am just concerned about losing a lot of the R134 when I do this.

As always, any advice/help is appreciated!

The right way to do it is evacuate it all and recover it with an ac machine. Then it can be reused. Otherwise you will probably loose all your freon and then have to buy more and recharge.

Disaster averted.

Pulled the connector from the pressure switch and cleaned it with electronic cleaner. Added two small dabs of dielectric grease to the connector and plugged it back up and made sure it was tight.

Also took out the blower fan and cleaned it off/out. Put it back in.

A/C back to running and cooling as it should! AMEN!
