AC temperature knob and clicking sound

On my 2001 I have the standard AC controls - not a Limited. I just noticed that when I turn the temperature up or down I hear a "clicking or clunk" right afterwards. It is coming from behind the center console - obviously something related to the temp. It's not loud since i can only hear it with the radio off and only does it from cold to about halfway and back. Any ideas what to look at or lube?

Probably just the air servomotor door- when you adjust the cool level or make it warmer, the door that lets in the cold air opens and closes. While it shouldn't be making a loud clunk, I don't think it's a real huge issue unless you start getting only COOL air (instead of cold) or hot air only meaning the servomotor isn't pushing the door open and closed. Just keep an eye on it.
