Accessorides auto start, bought one.....

Hey for anyone wanting to buy one they have a good sale going on right now (175) and my capital one/wiki buy alerted me to the promo code STIMUL8 which is another 25 dollars off. If anything you can now use the express shipping for 14 dollars and still get a decent discount on price. just thought I'd share that for anyone who was on the fence because of the cost.

I've had mind for about 10 months, no issues. I live where it gets down to -40 in the winter and this thing works. Obviously I have a great battery. If you can get this, especially on sale, go for it.

Does anyone know if this will work when you are in the vehicle? i.e. camping and starting the truck when cold from the back of the vehicle at night

No mo Black Fri.

Ya got mine on Black Fri. sale still 248 & taxes almost 270 . Well worth it (imo) ! Thought I saw plug & play for push button start for a lot cheaper ? 199$:vader:

Is it too much to ask to have a system for push start that is plug and play, uses oem smart key, and will not shutoff when you open the door?

My 12V.Solutions one does all this. I think they are both really comparable, I've got no skin in the game either way.

Install was completely plug and play, it took about 25-30 minutes. It doesn't shut off unless you hit the brake pedal without turning the ignition.

Hmmm...their website states that the engine will shut off when the door is opened. Has this changed?

Apparently it depends if you have a key or pushbutton. The excerpt below is for the G key only

This is from their website and this is how mine behaves.

Operation of System
To Start: Press lock 3 times on the OEM key FOB
To Stop: Press lock 3 times on the OEM Key FOB
Parking Lights will illuminate during remote start mode
Run time is 15 minutes
All doors, hood and hatch/trunk must be closed
The vehicle will NOT shut off when the door is opened. You can get in and go without having to restart your vehicle.

I think that's the difference between push to start and keyed start. Remote start with any push to start is like that. The only way to get around it would be to have a remote in the car, but then someone could steal your car. I use to leave a window cracked in the hot summer, I would slide my remote through the cracked window before opening the door and it wouldn't turn off :yo:

I did lose the remote a couple times under the seat.

I just installed mine last month and twice my Toyota started on its own. Once with the keys on the kitchen table and another time when I was in the departments building, I walked out and saw it running. Any of you guys have this issue??

Have not had that issue, but was experiencing some weird problems with my 2020 starter cranking a couple times but not turning over fully on hot days when using the remote start.

Reach out to their customer service via email, they are pretty responsive.

For me, they suggested that I just reset and reprogram the module which they gave me instructions and haven’t had any issues since.

Good luck!

Accessorides not working

Just installed on my 21 ORP. The remote start works great but I’m having an issue with voice commands not working. I know it has to do with the connection behind the glove box since I unplugged the harness there and put the factory plug back in and voice command works again. Is anyone having the same issue?

How did you reset and reprogram it?

I don't have the exact sequence with me, but basically you unplug the main wires from remote start along with some other things. Takes like 5 minutes and you don't need to remove much of the dash to access. Just email the company, they are pretty responsive/helpful!
