Accessory Theft (Light Bar, Jack, Awning, etc)

Just curious how prevalent theft is for items on your vehicle, such as:

Light bars
Shovels
Axe
Awning
Tent
Shower
Jack
etc.

I know that some of these have locking mounts (for some setups). But often these are basic cable locks that aren't that difficult to cut anyways. I feel weird even buying and using a lock to protect a shovel or jack when my $1500 light bar could be removed with a 13mm socket.

So what do you all do? Do you carry a wad of keys and lock it all up (if so how?) or do you just take your chances?

I have a Compustar alarm remote start unit that incorporates several main features.

Das sensor=digital angle sensor. Tilt and impact sensor unit.

Drone mobile unit that gives me unlimited range and notifications.

Dash camera with impact and motion sensors.

That's about all you can really do.

I find it, it's all about giving the perp the opportunity to commit the crime.

Do we take the truck the the midnight movies showing and park it in the back of the theater where no foot traffic? With no alarm? Then go into the hatch in the parking lot to stow away valuables? No.

I have taken my truck everywhere, would I have been a target if I didn't have a aftermarket system? Don't know, but I have not had a break in since I started alarming every one since my last one in 1992.
